150 gal project up and running.

Looks great. One word of caution, be careful with the mags, they're prone to leak and throw off alot of heat.

Thanks for the info, one quick ? thor, I'm running 4 nozzles for the close loop and have the top ones regulated so that the bottom ones get flow and it don't seem like the put out alot, it may just be me.I may have to wait to get some stuff in there or something right, how strong should the jet be?

Yes, I took the empty 29 gal sump to a glass shop and they told me it was tampered glass I told them try it anyways if anything I'll get some lexan or acrylic to replace it, sure enough it broke, so I went to lowes and boght a sheet of acrylic , replaced the side wall and did all the baffles everything for $40 , don't get plexi get acrylic it is a bit easier if you are going to drill it than plexi, lexan is another option but it is more expensive....also if you have measurements when you buy the sheet, lowes will cut whatever you need for free, let me know if this helped, Jose.....

Thanks to evega, Mike alers and Nick from Ocean Direct ....
hope you guys like it so far....

Looks good, I like the depth you get out of the 150. Are you using any type of switching device on the closed loop? I didn't when I did mine on my 75 gallon but I wish I had. I will probably end up redoing my plumbing to add an ocean motion squirt.

just a suggestion. your top off container looks like something can fall in there pretty easy. In the pet section at wal-mart they have hinged lid food containers that work great!

and one question. the back panel is acrylic, what did you use to attach it?
