150 Gallon Complete Setup For Sale

I have been building/purchasing this setup for about three years now. At one time it was up and running as perfect as one could aspect from a reef tank. My time that I have to devote to the hobby has been shrunk to almost the point of non-existence, so it is only right to give another person an opportunity to the setup which wants and will take more care of it. I will describe the setup the best that I can below, I would like to sell everything together, as the tank is still functioning and houses livestock, but I am not closed off to the idea of parting it out if no-one wants the whole system.

Hardware:
150 Gallon Acyrilic Tank (48L x 24D x 30H, Predrilled)
Wooden Hood & Stand (In a Rosewood Stain)
Closed Loop System ([2] 1 1/2" Intakes [4] 1" Outputs
Pan World NH-100PX-X Pump
Oceanmotion 4-Way
Blue Wave "“ Dual Pulse Start 250 MH Ballast
[2] Spider Mongol Reflectors
[2] XM 250 MH Bulbs
IceCapp 660 Ballast
[2] 48" Actinic 110W VHO Bulbs
[4] Standoffs and Waterproof Endcaps (for VHO)
Hood cooling fan
Ecotech Marine MP40
Elos Skimmer w/Ehem Pump (Elos NS1000)
H&S Calcium Reactor (Milwalkee Ph Controller & Aqua Medic Regulator)
Mag 12 Return Pump (from sump)
Aqua Controller III Pro (w/old Temp/Orp/Ph Probes [most likely need to be replaced])
DC8
100' Cable to connect to computer
45 Gallon All Glass DIY Sump with dividers
Ocean Reef +1 RO/DI Filter

Livestock
4 Green/Blue Chromis
2 Tomato Clowns (Breeding Pair)
1 Black & White Clown (Female)
1 Purple Firefish
1 Spotted Watchman Goby
Lots of Snails/Crabs
Florida Green Ricordea (lots)
Green Star Polyps (on one rock)
Several Kenya Trees
Roughly 5" Sandbed
Roughly 250lbs of Liverock

Now I want to be honest about this sale, while the tank is up and running, it is not running perfect. There is some Bubble Algae starting to pop up [I thought I had eradicated years ago] and there is some Cyano [which I again thought I had eradicated years ago] which are present. I am going to clean the tank sides and get some good pictures for prospect buyers. Of course if you are interested I would welcome you to see the tank first hand before you commit to purchase. There are a few items which I will be ordering soon such as impellers and such that need to be replaced in the pumps, so all items will be in great working order for the next owner.

On to the price, which is the always the main topic when it comes to these things. I tried to look up what all the individual items are going for on Reef Central and came to a Price of $3000.00 just on the Hardware and Liverock. So what I realistically want to get for the Complete Setup is $2000.00. I can guarantee that I spent that price almost tripled over the years on the hobby! I feel pretty Firm on the $2000.00 price as I feel it is fair, but the market is what really determines what is fair, so if want to offer something lower than the $2000.00 asking price go ahead, I am not going to be rude to anyone.

Thanks for looking.

First round of Pictures

Alright, took a few pictures this morning with just the Actinic lights on. Wasn't a lot of supporting lights on in the room, so the pictures are not the best. I will get some more when the main lights come on and take some of the whole system as a well. The video is the Tomato Clowns tending to a clutch of eggs they recently laid.

I am currently redoing the doors to match the rest of the stand. They will be stained and polyied to look like new.

These pictures above show the light spectrum when all the tank lights are on (first is with flash, second is without). Also provides a reference to the fish size to the aquarium size, the Female Tomato Clown is about 4" Long and the Blk&Wht Clown and Chromis are about 2 1/2" to 3" long.

I had another 75 Gallon tank up which formed an "L" shape with this system, which is why the sump is positioned the way it is. Also, the Calcium Reactor normally sits in the right had section of the Sump, but it has been taken offline currently.
ClosedLoop.jpg

Closed Loop uses Union Ball Valves, which make maintenance just a little bit easier.

If there is something specific someone would like a picture of, just request it, I will work to get it up as soon as I possibly can.

Thanks.

Sounds good. I am going to wait a couple of weeks, but I am keeping track of names which would like individual items it I need to part out the system.

By the way, these little guys really bring life to the tank, very fun to watch, and they tend to stick together. I had 5 to start, but 1 didn't make it, these 4 have been together for around 2 years now.

Alright, looks like I am going to part out this beast!

To all that have showed interest, I am going to go off the first person whom posted or PMed, so please don't be offended if the item may be sold to someone else (I feel this is the only fair way).

I will work on developing a pricing list for the individual items. I am going to try to make it reasonable pricing, but if you don't agree that it is, you can back out and give the next person the option to buy or provide your best offer and I can choose if I am willing to accept. Anyway you look at, there is no pressure on the price, I am not going to get mad if you say no and hopefully vise versa.

I'll see if I can modify my original post, and send some PM's to individuals which have already stated they would like an individual item by the end of the weekend if not today.

Just remember, Livestock will need to go first, then equipment.

Thanks!
