150 gallon pump?

I was just wondering what the recommended GPH my pump should have for my 150 gallon SPS tank. I wanted to set the tank up so that the main pump was used for circulation in the tank, to run my carbon reactor, calcium reactor.

Does this pump produce enough GPH to do these things?

Regarding your link....yeah, I think that one will do it. Call Scott at the contact number on that website. He is a SUPER NICE guy and will help. If that is not the one, he'll steer you in the right direction.

I am in the process of gathering equipment for a larger tank (120). What I am finding is that the larger pipes you can use the better. Check out the head loss calculator (left side RC Homepage) when you take any pump (pick a decent one like an iwaki) and start changing the pipe size from 1" to 1.5" the increase in flow is DRAMATIC !
