I will post on the boards.

O2 Ill be looking for it.

I Got the tank back on the stand....thanks sandman!

The bulkheads fit great and there was no need to do any more trimming of the stand. I cut an opening in the back center of the stand to give me access to the pump so I won't have to crawl under the prop tank to remove the pump for servicing.

I picked up some new stuff from a reefer getting out of the insanity. :)
Here are some pics.

O2 you are welcome to check them out on Sunday, but I'm thinking that after the swap meet you won't have any money left. :)

I just decided to frag off the Euphyllia at $5 a polyp, and the Monti didgi at $5 an inch they all are encrusted on rocks and at least 4 inches most would be around $20- $30 there are some larger ones and a few loose ones too.

Sunday was a very long day. I was up at 6 to do the usual Sunday tank stuff, tested the water and every thing was good, it looks like I have the dosing dialed in. then it was time to pack the stuff for the swap meet, I bagged up the frags for some previously arranged trades. I still had 6 8 gallon batches of Randi’s 2 part left over from the club meeting, I wanted to get rid of it so I drug out my dive bag with wheels so I wouldn’t have to carry a 20lb box and a cooler around all day. The guys showed up and off we went for a 3 hour road trip. We got into Ft Lauderdale at 1 pm and the hall was packed we missed the first hour and it was slim pickings for the good stuff.

I did manage to get a few trades in and best of all I got back a clone of one of my Original RBTAs. [Thanks Jeff (jeffbrig) for arranging the deal and Jeff (bureau13) for coming through with the anemone]

At the swap meet I got a teal with green polyp and baby blue tip stag about 3" tall. , I traded purple Acropora for 2 purple polyp monties unfortunately the Idaho Grape that I had previously arranged a trade for was sold out from under me in the first hour.

I also got a small mixed exotic zoas frag, a 2" gate valve for the big downdraft skimmer on the 120, some 2" PVC odds and ends and some back issues of Coral Mag I was missing. After it all was done I still had the Dow flake.

After the swap meet Jeff (jeffbrig) took us to see his favotite LFS to spend the remainder of our cash, I did find a large rock of nuclear orange and yellow Zoas that I had to have. Then we all went to back to Jeffs house to see his 250.

Jeff thanks for the great time the tank looks great! (Now finish the wiring:)) How was that Christy? Oh by the way Christy the house looks fabulous. Now kick Jeff in the but and get him working on the wiring.

Back in the car for another 3 hours on the road, to get to Brians (BGdiving) to drop him off and of course we all had to see his coral farm. I didn't get back home until after 1am.

I still had to acclimate the new corals and RBTA as soon as the anemone hit the spot I wanted it, it went on a walk about. I spent another hour clearing corals out of his way. Needles to say I didn't get much sleep.

Every thing looks good and the anemone is settling in close to where I wanted him open and doing great.

It was good to see you again, Greg. Next time you guys have to get here earlier, it was absolutely crazy for the first 45 minutes. :D

Here's a few shots of the acros I cherry picked:

sweet I can't wait for them to grow up so I can get a frag!

The anemone took another walk about last and moved to the canter of the tank where the main return and 2 power heads are pointed, just a few inches from the point of most flow. Things that make you go hum. I hope he decides on a spot soon Im tired of moving corals out of his way.

Well it has been a long week I got my out processing done and on Thursday I retired from the army after 26 years. Now I need to find a job unfortunately I’m going to have to do some work this time.

Every thing is looking good in the 65 and I sold a few frags to make some room for the new Idaho Grape Montipora capricornis I’m picking up next week. The anemone is looking great but hasn’t bubbled up yet and is still walking around a little although he is still on the rock I want him on. Ill try to get a pick today if he decides to show his pretty face.

The cabinet work on the 150 is my biggest priority now; I got the end panel installed and plan to have the hood finished today. I have every thing I need to complete the build, but I still have a lot of mill work to do.

Congrats on your army retirement, Greg. Sounds like a good problem to have. :D

Glad you found a piece of the Idaho Grape, too.

Christy,

Thanks it has been a long and hard road at times.

I really don't know what I want to do, now that I have done so much it is hard to start over.

Stephen saw the post for the grape and shot me a pm and I lucked out. Its nice to know that there are people out there that look out for you, thanks Stephen, and I thank you and Jeff for helping me get back the RBTA.

Look for my post tomorrow with an update on my water chemistry and a dig on Jeff:)

I gotta go and see a man about a coral and get back in the wood shop.

I got up early to get a good start on the hood with the best intentions, well you know how that went. I decided to head to the LFS (Aquarium Architecture) to check out the corals before I got all dirty. I cant help myself in that store Chris has some of the best looking live stock around and I wish I had the 150 finished, because I could fill it with ease. After a few hours of talking to Chris, and drooling over the fish and corals, I was ready to go. While I was talking to Chris about the swap meet I went on a bout the RBTA and said that I wanted a pair of Skunk clowns just like I had before, next thing you know he is making me a deal on this pair he has had for a few weeks. I have got to stop going in there because I keep coming home with a new fish.

skunks.jpg

And I'm not a fish person. They are doing great and settled in with the rest of the crowd like they were back home. I hope they find the RBTA to their liking.

Here are the Zoas I got from the road trip last weekend.
zoas2.jpg

I did get some work done on the hood but not as much as I would have liked.

Ah64av8tor those clowns are beautiful. The coloration mix is very nice, I love the yellow hi-lights - very nice looking clowns.

The Zoas are very nice also, I love the ones that have the white specks.

Hey, it was nice meeting you last week I think we all could have talked all night - LOL.

glad to see someone finally picked up those clowns! Everytime i went in there i had to keep my self from buying them as i had no room for them!!! Those are the biggest pinks i have even seen and were doing great in his store!!

ReefArtist, Funny thing is they look a lot better in person, and that is probably the best pic I have taken lately.

The ones with the specks are my favorite ones too, I cant wait for them to spread so I can separate them out.

It would have been nice to carry on the conversation, I have some glass questions for you next time we get together.
