My 26 gallon is a little tight on space:

To fix this, I decided to go big and I bought a Marineland 150XH

While waiting for some parts to arrive I was able to get a nice piece of acrylic from my LFS, Eco Reef, to construct a nice mount for my lighting system.

I came up with the idea of putting some art work on the acrylic to cover up some of the scratches. I utilized some cheap LED's from Ikea to light up the acrylic and make it pop.

My wife designed the reef scene and used etched vinyl to apply it to the acrylic. Lucky me

Equipment list is as follows:
Marineland 150 Xh with black stand
2x AI Hydra 52 LED lights
Tsunami Sump
Waveline DC 6000 return pump
2x ViaAqua titanium heaters
Bubble Magus Curve 7 skimmer
NextReef MR1 media reactor running Matrix
ApexJR controller

Still undecided in power heads. I have Tunze on my 60 cube and will probably stick with them on this build.

Spent the entire day today filling this beast up with some help from my assistant

The Waveline 6000 is a very powerful pump. With only one overflow, I was only able to increase the flow to the second lowest setting before the overflow noise was unbearable.

I really like that light mount, definitely gives that extra pop. I really also like the 150XH's. Can't wait to see this thing really come to life.

Thank You! I can't wait to start adding soft coral. I've have a lot more real estate with the 150
