16 days of inflate/deflate carpet prognosis?

Well this is day 16 and I've thought it was going to die numerous times but its still here. What do you think? Is it going to live?

Don't know. You have more patience than I have. My carpet would not attach and would inflate deflate with brown muck coming out of the mouth. Took him back to the pet store after 1 week.
