Bought a couple of Reef Radiance Starfire LEDs when they were on sale last year for $150. Reef Radiance doesn't answer the phone (Rik does have an answering machine to screen calls - likely to take money from new orders but then not service paid customers), reply to emails or their web forms. I've been trying to reach them for several months now. And they've dropped sponsorship of the major forums, so something is obviously up with them. Buyer beware. Anyway, the problem is these lights use a wifi link to program the 3 channels, and while it worked it was very nice since I could dim down to moonlights only (3 Royal Blue LEDs) and ramp up. But then I started having problems with the lights/program: one light was running much faster - even though they were supposedly set up as slave/master. Then today I wifi'd in to synchronize clocks as I have to do on occasion when the clocks would get too far off... and now I can't get a connection using the app (AqDim5) for the lights. I can still see the wifi from the lights on my phone (i.e. I can connect my phone's wifi to the light's wifi in wifi Settings), but then when I open the app it says it can't connect. To make matters worse I reset the lights and now they aren't running a program, just on. I've scanned the forums and I see lots of problems with these wifi black boxes (GalaxyHydro etc.) and while I'm probably SOL I figured I'd throw a request to see if anyone else has seen this issue, with or without a solution. At least I can use the lights in manual mode with simple on/off with the dimmer pots, but lose independent control of the moonlight channel. BEst case maybe someone has a solution to the wifi problem. I see there is a wifi module in the light and if I can find a cheap source perhaps I'll try replacing it with the same module. TIA
