1700 gallons- Then and now.

Both works of art. Thank you for showing us your current system.

Do you ever miss your reef? Any thoughts of doing a smaller scale tank?

Funny thing...a couple days ago I was googling your tank to see where it was for I knew you had transitioned over to a frog system. Low and behold here it is! I personally feel you have made a great step in showing us that there is more than one way to keep an aquarium. I personally would be interested in a breakdown of what you have kept and what is currently being used to run a system as such. If it is a conflict here for all the saltwater people you could pm me. Thanks and a great job!

Here is some pics for those that can't see the video.

Energy, Both of your tanks are absolutely AMAZING... I had seen a vivarium in someones house that I was picking up some saltwater stuff from. He made the same change. I was blown away by the look of his system and never forgot it. Seeing your tank makes me want to learn something new. How much upkeep is there to your system? do you think it would be too difficult to carry on with a reef and paludarium?

Wow. Im not much of a freshwater fan anymore, but that is incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks!

agree thats impressive

Appreciate that!

Just like my reef I have everything automated. I just left for 10 days and came home to the same tank I left. Any system can be a lot of work or little-depends on how you design it.

U went from coral cutters to pruners , LOl looks good!
Yep and from $50 frags to $1. and $2. plants! hahaha:lmao:

I see carnivorous plants? how many of those do you carry in that system and how do you feed them??

simply amazing!

The eat the same micro fauna as the Poison dart frogs.

That is awesome. It's like a piece of the amazon right in your house! I actually think the tank looks better overall with the design of the river rock surround and natural pine woodwork. Nicely done. :)
