I'm looking for more 'pop' in my tank, so I figured adding actinics would be a good start.
How much actinic should I add? I'm looking for near 20,000k amounts of POP. Using the 175w SE Iwasaki, it seems like it would need something pretty potent to influence the color in the tank.
I have a 2x65w coralife retro sitting around but I tried 1 actinic bulb (thats all i had laying around) with no reflector and it didn't seem to do squat to the colors in the tank.
Can anyone who knows this bulbs power make some recommendations?
