I am deciding to sell my hammer coral it's like 18 inches by 15 inches massive. I would like to get something different i guess i just get bored and like different stuff all the time. It is about 15 years old and is super healthy. Looking for 150.00 OBO. I have never fragged it and am sure it doesnt fit into a 5 gallon bucket.

Im sure it can be fragged and i have seen hammers a quarter of this size for 150 so i know its a good deal. Pm me if interested.

TBH, I would be scared to move that into another tank! It seems to be really happy in your setup, why not just dedicate that tank to him and start another small tank? I would take him, but my 36" cube isn't done. I would make it the center piece for sure.

The hammer coral is pretty hardy as long as you take your time acllimating it shoudn't be a problem. I am looking for more scolys, lobos, wellso, acans is what i am after. After seeing reefsafe's tank i want it to look just like his. Now all i need is like 4 grand to start lol. I have alot of people giving me hell for selling this coral due to the fact that its one of a kind. You just dont see too many this size they are out there just not that many.

WOW i would buy that in a heartbeat and re-aquascape to fit that in my tank, i think your crazy for selling it!

but to each his own, good luck with the sale and i hope that thing keeps getting bigger!

you need to just settle down and keep that thing. it is a big enough tank that you can have your acans and have it too! seriously, just leave the tank alone!!! you are driving us crazy!
LOL

I know the tank big enough like I mention earlier I am bored with it and will consider trades. What do you think Keith I bet I can get some cool stuff for it.

I know it's not that often you find a coral this size but i am looking foward to trying different acros and more acans. I guess i am just going in a different direction.

That is the great thing about this hobby people always like to trade and you can try different corals. As i see more reefers tanks i would like to try different setups, there is nothing wrong with this. If you talk to some of the hobbiest that have been doing this for several years alot of them have changed their setup multiple times and the stock inside the tank. Also alot of my change is coming with experiance were i see different setups that work better and also look better.
