180 Aquascaping help please

we came to a dead end need some ideas for rockwork on our 180 any pictures/advice would be great.

Have you ever thought of drilling some flat rock and using a acrylic rod up thru making some columns?

I am in the process of trying this - using a nice size piece as a base - using half inch acrylic rod 20 inches long - drill thru the following pieces placing them on top and spread them out giving yourself some nice shelves for frags -

yeah We are might try it on a side on my last tank I had some cool caves . the rock we have now is on the small side kinda hard to do stuff. ordering some big pices this week,
