Hello everyone. Well, through this forum, thank goodness for other reefers selling equipment, I'm almost done with my 180 Gallon Build. Thank you to everyone for their suggestions and great used equipment!!!
Started with a 180 Gallon with a Stand given to me, it was a Fresh Water set up. Had to buy a New 40 Gallon as my 55 Gallon just would not fit...
I drilled the Tank using the Glass Holes Kits. (2) 1500 GPH Overflows and (2) 3/4" Returns
Built a 1/4" Skin made from Pine (not done yet, waiting for the Doors)
Used the standard Vinyl Back applied with Vegetable Oil
Ordered a bunch of Plumbing from savko, of course I need more
Got everything dry fitted, I think it looks good any opinions are greatly appreciated! I also have (4) Unions for the 1.5" Lines...just not sure where to place them yet..
I have the Glass Baffles on order for the Sump.
Equipment so far:
75 Gallon Deluxe RO/DI from Bulk Reef supply
Aqua C 180 EV Skimmer driven by a 9.5 mag
(2) 1262 Eheim Returns (got one purchased still need to get another)
Precision Marine Calcium Reactor with a Eheim 1048 Recirculation Pump
(2) Mag 5 Hydor Koralia Pumps (1) 1400 Evolution Koralia all running Redsea Wavemaster Pro
72" Coralife (3) 150 HQI with 14K Phoenix Bults and (4) 96W PC 50/50 Bulbs
Aqua Jr
Still need a JBJ ATO and to run the pumping under the house for my Maintenance drain, RO/DI Supply and Salt water supply.
I'm getting excited and will keep this Thread Updated as I finally complete this build. Thanks for looking!
