180 gallon powerhead placement

I'm struggling getting good moment in my mixed reef tank. Anyone have any recommendations on power head placement and direction?

Right now I have two jebao. One on either side of the tank. One across the top of the back glass one down across the front of the tank. Both are on pulse.

It's hard to give good power head placement advice without seeing your rockwork, but in general I would place them opposite each other on the sides. If you don't like the look of them on the sides place them on the back as close to the corners as possible. I like to have the powerheads fairly low in the tank aimed at the opposite side of the tank and upwards. I prefer a varied flow with fairly high spikes over a pulse.

Oh I’ve got mine up high on the sides. I will try lower. So more of a random surge on the highest power setting? Anyone with jebao have a favorite setting?

I have two wav pumps, one on each side and have plenty of flow on my 180. I also have them about 8 inches from the top

In pulse mode it's creating more of a wave. As mention above, I like the settings where it switches through the different modes
