180 gallon Tank For sale

Since the school isn't interested in my 180 gallon tank I recently offered then its now up for sale. Whats included is a 180 gallon tank, 100 gallon sump, and a 10 gallon surge tank on the top and a stand and canopy. Everything is pretty much plumbed and has been a very reliable system for me for the past year and a half. I've decided to downgrade and consolidate most of my corals into a smaller tank to reduce the amount of work required and also to allow me to stay in the hobby since the bigger tank was taking more time then I can give it. The tank is a TruVu and the acrylic is pretty thick. There are 2 corner overflows and there is a custom super thick cover I had made for the two openings on the top. The only problem is there are 4 cracks on the top of the tank. The cracks where there when I bought the tank and in the year and a half I've used this tank, the cracks never got larger (it actually got grow anymore since its reached the end) and the tank has never changed shapes or bowed out due to the weight of the water. I can almost 99% gaurantee it will be ok. But again its a used tank and I will make the price fairly attractive. The 100gallon tank acting as a sump is also acrylic.

I do have a PFO pendant hood (see picture) that I can sell seperatly. Comes with 3 sockets for metal halide lighting (center one was added by me). But it only comes with 2 icecap 250Watt ballast and 2 used bulbs which should be replaced.

I'm asking $450 for the tank, stand, canopy and another $380 for the lighting system. I won't sell the lighting until the tank is sold incase I decide to keep the whole thing and setup a freshwater tank or something.

If your interested best way to get a hold of me is via email at andy@andyman.org

I won't hold this for anyone without a deposit (non-refundable $100) and its first come first serve.

Almost forgot, I scrubbed as much coralline algae off the front, back and sides but theres still a some left over. Its up to you to get it back to this condition you see above. Also doors do come with the tank. The picture shows it removed because this was when I first set it up, I removed the doors for easier access. Also the tank is located in San Francisco and is ready for pickup anytime.
