Hey everyone,

Since I moved the tanks and built my 180 into the wall I dont need my other Stand and Canopy anymore. Its made from solid oak and oak plywood. Its alot nicer then factory stand! It holds a standard 180. I can give Exact measurements if wanted. The inside of the canopy and stand are both painted with Acrylic latex paint. The bottem of the stand is lined with plastic sheeting.

Here is a couple pictures

I dont have any pictures with the tops up.. But the doors in the front all open so does the very top of the canopy. The canopy top lifts in two sections.. Like two big doors basiclly that are hinged in the back.

Asking 300 for the set OBO

If anyone is interested I also have my Control box I made that matches it.. It houses 2 power strips with switches. It also had room to mount 3 Electronic ballasts. The top is cut out for a AquaController. Asking 50.00 simply cause thats what the powerstrips cost me. If noone wants the box I'm just going to take them back out and reuse them ;)

And last thing is I have a Aquacontroller 2 That I'm selling.. Its the same one in the control box in the picture. The controller comes with Standard grade PH probe, Orb probe, Temp probe. X10 controller and a few x10 plug ins. Works great I'm only selling it cause I got a Aquacontroller 3 that can monitor both my tanks. Say 200 for it.

Re. ACII. I am very interested and very low on money. I just picked up a Hammerhead for a closed loop. I see you are running the Dart. I'm going to see what I can do to get it from you. How old are the probes??

Sorry for the Delay,

The probes are about 1.5 years old. I haven't had any problems with them. They have always stayed wet. Infact I still have them in my sump now to keep them from drying out.. The ph probe is reading .10 off but I think it just needs to be calibrated. Its been like that for a few months.

Jay,

I suppose you know where Huntsville-Madison area is. Toney is a little north of Madison. His place is very close to Coral Reef Aquatics. My house is pretty close to his and, for time wise, it takes me about 1.5 hours to get to Aquarium Designs in Birmingham from Madison.

I planned to go 'inwall'' until I saw your post and decided to take the easy way out. : ) I wont be doing anything with my tank until after the superbowl, so keep me informed either way. Oh yeah, thanks for the info Tomoko ,you north Alabama guys are so helpful : )
Thanks again ,Jay

Will do guys.. Its kind of crazy. I posted here and in another forum a few days back didn't hear to much.. Then all at once I had about 6 people saying they wanted it.. Guess thats how it goes.

Jay375 I call mine a inwall it sorta is sorta isn't. Its really only sunk into the wall a inch or so. But the back is all cut out and the stand is framed into the wall. All my Equipment is in a room behind the tank. The picture frame looking tank is kewl, But really I just wanted the moisture and noise out of the display room. Good luck with your project!

Jay,

You're welcome. 8Ball's semi-inwall tank is really super! So well done. I would like to have a set up like that, but I have to move to another house to do that...

If you have a chance to come this way, you need to ask 8Ball to show you the tank room in person. Actually, it is more like tank rooms - a viewing room and an equipment room.

Thanks Tomoko. I'm very happy with it. Shannon probably gets tired of me saying I really like my room, Everytime I'm working in the equipment room lol. I've made a few changes since the meeting! I figured we would host another meeting later this year for those that didn't get to come last time. I've added Kalk Stirrers, Phosban reactors, new skimmer, diy fresh air ventilation system, New controller and top system. I also added a floor drain to the room plus a few lil odd and ends. Its really coming along. The 180 is Doing Great. Things are just growing like crazy in it. My 92 is still pretty much a FOWLR. I've got just a couple of corals in the display. It still has some algae here and there. I was waiting for all the new tank stuff to pass before I moved corals over. Its getting there though. Has coraline growing Everywhere.

Sounds wonderful! Yes, please let us know when you want to have us again. Before the baby comes or after? We can do a reef baby shower party ;)
