I have a 180g tank (72x24x24) that my husband and I built that is for sale.
It is unfinished, meaning that it needs the 2" glass braces at the top to prevent bowing when filled. (directions for this step on garf.org)
At last check it did not leak.
It also needs to be modified (by the handy DIY person) so that it can encorporate a glass top if you wish. It is just a glass box.
It was made with 3/8" tempered glass so it cannot be drilled in any way. (It would make a great ref or sump for those with the "mama's" of reef tanks.)
We were building it for our freshwater tank. We never finished it and bought a ready made tank instead. So now I have this tank just sitting in my garage taking up space.
We paid $650.00 for the glass and am asking for 400.00. Questions welcomed!
If I had room in my home, I would finish it and use it. My current FW 180g takes up plenty of space as it is.
email or PM if interested. I am located in the central florida area and this is for pick up only (of course)
I also accept paypal. Good luck to those interested.
