Well, even with my big tank, the nano bug finally got me. Thought I might throw a pics up here and see how it goes. My handheld digital camera takes pretty bad pictures, so bear with me.

Here's a rundown of equipment so far...

AquaC Remora w/ Maxi-Jet 1200, also added surface-skimmer box
2 Maxi-Jet 600's on a Red Sea Wavemaster
Sunlight Supply Reef Optix III 150w DE Pendant w/ Phoenix 14k bulb
Jager 75w Heater

As far as water chemistry and maintance goes...

I do a 15% water change on Saturday and another 15% on Sunday using Tropic Marine Salt. So 30% weekly.

I'm running 2 tablespoons of Rowacarbon and 4 tablespoons of Rowaphos continuosly

I add 1/2 tablespoons of TLF C-Balance 3 times a week and add 2 spoons of TM Magnesium 2 times a week.

Heh, not to knock the living room but the tank kinda seems out of place among those flowers :P

The setup is nice though, you're gonna love the phoenix bulb once it burns in all the way.

Isnt that a lot of water movement for a nano? What kind of skimmer do you use? I got a 24 gallon aquapod and I want to add a protein skimmer. Let me know whats a good one. I just normall do 4 gallon a week water changes and the tank is in perfect shape with everything thriving. Personally I dont know much about protein skimmers but I find them unnecessary on small tanks. Overkill in my opinion. I'm wondering if I need a heater. Whats a good temeperature to keep the tank? Your tank is just so clean looking and nice. congrats.

I just looked up the AquaC Remora w/ Maxi-Jet 1200 I might have to try out that protein skimmer. But I would have to take out the glass top of my Aquapod. Would that affect anything?

Thanks for the kind words guys....I'm out of town till Friday, but I'll have more pics up this weekend. My camera take really bad up-close pics, so I'll see what I can do

DarkXerox - I really do like the Phoenix, its the perfect color. I thought all the purples blended nicely with the coralline algae. (That's my foyer btw) :D

Aquapod - The Remora is a great skimmer, I love it. It's really compact, it looks good, and it works like a charm...I highly recommend it. I still change 30% a week (I'm anal about W/C)

Here's a link we just started for it: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=881279

If you can, I would definitly recommend removing the glass top. It really limits gas exchange, just makes sure your fish cant jump out. I've actually added a 4" plexi-glass shield to keep my fish from jumping out. As far as flow goes, it's an SPS tank, so it's hard to have to much. The maxi's actually arent quite enough. When the new Tunze Nanostreams to come out the maxi's are getting tossed anyway.
