1st annual kentucky reef society frag swap

hey guys and gals my local reef club was wanting to put on a frag swap sometime later this year. and we were wondering if any of you guys would be interested in helping us get it organized and attending. this would be our first obviously and we need all the pointers we could get. we do have some sponsors and will be working on getting more.

I attended the mtrc swap and had a blast and the show ran smoothly.

this would probably be around oct,nov. how many of you guys would be willing to come and setup to trade?

we may not be able to have all the nice door prizes and the raffel just a fragswap but every club had to start somewhere right?

I think we are looking at november no specific date but at least we have a month

Awesome. It's great to see new swaps popping up. Be careful of other swaps around the same time, though. I think ETRC and CRC (Chattanooga) are planning two sometime around that time frame. West Tn may be planning for something around that time frame, too. NARC is working on something too (so many clubs doing swaps these days). Swaps really ignite the reefing community in the area of the swap. I wish there was any support for one down here...

Everything seems to be clustered around the end of the year with nothing during the hot months. You could sneak in a summer swap and be out there away from everyone else. It's not unheard of to set up a swap in a month.

I kinda like september for the month of the swap myself.
