so..what do i need to know?what fish can i keep?what inverts?what coral?

pics please i need ideas!!

go with option #2 for lights u can keep 1 small clown goby that stay under 2 inch and that it.as for coral almost anything except sps.hth

Agreed, the 2nd light would be much more succesful in providing necessary light, it will also look better. Sexy shrimp would be a good match, also the smaller gobies may be able to live in there. Most polyps and soft corals can live under that weak of a light. Best of luck.

I would suggest going with the second lighting choice. That is the same light I have on my 2.5 and have been very happy with the results. Also if you want to take a gander you can look at my tank setup by clicking on the little red house on my post.
Now as for fish I would suggest something that stays very small, and does not spend alot of time swimming laps around the tank. Alot of small gobies / blennies will do. Good Luck.
