I am thinking about setting up a 2.5 gallon pico tank just for fun and to keep a couple of frags in. I was about to post my ideas when I came across this link: http://65.190.199.12/nano.htm
This is close to the sort of thing I am looking at doing with a 2.5g all-glass with a overflow in the corner connected to more tanks. Although I would be attaching it to a system that has three other displays and a total water volume of over 85 gallons. I would rather do this then set up a complete set up right next to my current set up because that is where I plan on keeping it.
The biggest question I have would be about lighting. My budget is a little short, so I am really hoping to go mostly with what I already have. I have a Mini Aqualight Double from ESU that would fit perfect over a 2.5 I would just need to build a little stand for it to hold it about the tank a little.
I also have some indo pacific arag alive I could use for substrate.
If I used this lighting what all could I keep? I would expect hardly anything to stay in there forever and would be moving things up to a 20long or fragging some more. Let me know what you think.
