2.6g seahorse tank cuc?

My 2.5g has finally cycled and I'd like to start adding a cuc to the tank that's pygmy safe... I was thinking a couple ceriths, a margarita, and a nassarius... I would add a blue hermit buy that's not safe... So anyone have a cuc idea?

I think you mean "dwarf" not pygmy.
First of all there are no pygmy seahorses on the market, and second, they cannot survive without the specific gorgonian that they are found in.
I've never used CUC in my dwarf tanks, preferring to do frequent water changes and to wipe down all surfaces of slime bacteria.

Definitely no hermit crabs with dwarf seahorses. Small snails will be perfect. Dwarf ceriths and some nassarius would probably make a good CUC for your tank. Don't get any of the snails that can get really big in such a small tank.

Pencil urchin will NOT stay small, and definitely will very soon outgrow a tank that size.
Ideally they shouldn't be put in a tank under 30g.
Also, I wouldn't trust them with dwarfs that tend to stay hitched a lot, especially when lights are out and the urchin becomes active.

I kept one the size of a rubber bounce ball. Like you find in a gumball machine with no problem. I paid $5 and when he was bigger Wich took awhile I returned to the store. He was in my 2 1/2 gallon. He really cleaned up the algebra I had start growing. But I had a nassarius and it ate my female.
