2 brains with exposed skeletons in rough shape, Help

So I recently purchased two brain corals from a fellow reefer and they had been in too high of a current and flesh had started to pull away on the two of them. The one was very minor, just a little bit around the one edge, I didn't even notice until later. The open brain was detached almost fully, in retrospect I probably should not have got these but I like a challenge. But now over the last two days this has happened,

I didn't think anything was really wrong with this one but now it is all slimy, should I cut that part off? Should I blow it off with a turkey baster? The open brain in really bad shape is surrounded by a bottle with the bottom cut out to reduce current, but I don't know how well that is working because it wasn't until I got home that I realized there was only a very small amount in the center that is still attached to the skeleton. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like brown jelly disease... You'd probably want to get that out of your tank so it doesn't spread to any other coral. You can cut off the dying areas and then put it back in, but it would be better if you had a quarantine for Corals of some sort so you can observe it and feed it without your fish and cleanup crew around.

As for the one that left the skeleton, that's a polyp bailout, it's the last resort of the coral to survive. Keep it under low flow and light; if you feed it and not let it get in any powerheads, it should be fine. It looks like it's inflating as well, so that's a good sign.
