Getting back in to the hobby and about to set up a 125 and have a bunch of LR that I have taken out of some other tanks that I had in the past and just stored away until I was ready for another tank. Will I need to recycle the whole tank or is there anything that I need to do to the rock prior to using it I have never used rock a second time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes. The rock will need to be cycled again.

If it's been sitting in the open air then there's gonna be a lot of stuff inside the rock that will leach off when you put it in the tank. You might want to cure the rock before you put it in.
But then again, if it's a completely new tank, I guess you can just drop it in and start aggressively skimming and filtering. I'm pretty sure you wanna get your ammonia and stuff down to zero as soon as possible for the benefit of the rock. Even though it's been out of water, there will still be living things in there.
