So my friend and I built a stand for my custom 2.5. I have a 10 watt bulb and 3 blue cathodes. Here are some pictures of the tank after day
This is a picture of the entire tank with all the lights on.

Yeah i have a 40 breeder witha 30 sump so i took the water out of that tank and put it in the 2.5 so it doesnt have to cycle IMO. So right now i have a kenya tree, and devils hand and hermits and snails. Its just to see if it lives because i fragged the ones in there from bigger colonies so its ok if they dont live, but im hoping they do.

OK just making sure. IMO I would let it cycle. I used water from my 90 gallon on my 12 gallon and still let it cycle.

yeah i was thinking of doing that but i was so excited to have built the stand and i couldnt wait to set it up. Well see what happens im using it as a small frag tank to sell things so... what do you think i should add what corals look good under bluer lights

Great looking tank!

side note..... do you have problems with charging your cell phone? I got the same one and it sucks

The right side are the lights, blue cathode ones and i have the attatchment outside of the stand because i didnt feel like opening it to turn it off ebfore i went to sleep so i have the switches there, thats the grey thing the black thing is a fan.

And no i have had my cell phone for about a year and its been fine, i have scratched it dropped it ran it over with a bike and its still fine.

Also i just fragged three different types of GSP and put it in ill post a picture later if you want me to.

yeah its just a remote pretty much for the blue lights, on it theres sound activation, flash and just regualr on and off. There were pretty cheap to and put off more light then i expected,

You do realize that taking water from an already cycled tank, and put it in a non-cycled tank does very little in terms of "cycling" the new tank....the new tank is still gonna have all your algae break-outs and spikes in nitrites and nitrates.....

We made it cuz we were bored and its just cool to make it look like as if it was in the wall and it just looks like water cuz teh back and sides of the tank are black like the stand
