2 dumb acrylic questions

First - Is there a problem using 6" diameter extruded tubing for skimmers, etc. vs cast tubing. I understand the issues for sheet acrylic, but does cast vs. extruded really matter for round tubing?

Second, even dumber question - What does everyone use to get a nice square cut on a 6" tube?? I realized my 10" miter saw is not big enough to cut the tube..... since I'll be gluing it it seems imported to cut the thing sqaure and smooth!

Thanks

Hi Eric, from what i gather cell cast is stronger and wont craze while gluing,i can never find cast tube and other than a little unsightly have never had a problem. square cuts. i clamp a length of wood to the sliding guide and clamp a stop to that now you can go to the blade and still turn.. good luck
