2 Jebao pp4 or 1 pp8

Hello, I have a tank that is 30 inches long, 18 inches deep and 18 inches high. I am going bare bottom, tank is about 40ish gallons. I know I should aim around 2000gph. I just dont know if I should get 1 jebao pp8/rw8 and put it on the side, or maybe get 2 pp4 and point them left right on the back of the tank. For starting they seem like best bang for the buck. I dont want so much flow that water is waving out of the tank. Sorry been out of the game for a while, used to maxijet's lolol.

fyi, im planning to do mixed reef setup.

I would do 2 PP4s, one on each side and adjust as necessary.
