they very well can be depending on how much media is in your reactor and how aften you have to change it. I was just wondring if it can cause a nitrate spike big enough to detect and if so hoping that someone had some experience share.
I have used phosban in a phosban reactor for sometime and never have any problems. I feed the phosban reactor from my return side of the sump . I clean them good and reuse at refil.
