2 Ocellaris Clownfish in QT together?

I'm looking to add my first fish to my observation QT tank. My display tank is currently cycling.

Is it safe to add a black and white Ocellaris clownfish that's captive bred with a orange and white Ocellaris clownfish that's captive bred? I know they are generally supposed to only be added in pairs but does this still apply if QT for observation first? I plan to have them in the QT for at least 6-8 weeks before putting them into the display tank as the first 2 fish to go in.

QT tank is a biocube 29

what size are the clowns? You should be ok because you will be adding them at the same time. They should start bonding in QT

Medium: 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" according to live aquaria.

You will be just fine. I did that with my clowns. The only downside to quarantining two fish together is if one shows any symptoms of disease or parasites then you have to treat both fish. Not a super big deal but that is something to keep in mind.I say go for it and quarantine both together so they develop a bond in your QT before you put them in your display.
