2 pumps one transformer?

Hi Roger
Will the Tunze osmolators transfromer support running 2 of the supplied pumps? I have one on a tank I am shutting down and one on my 92g. I was thinking of putting both pumps and kalkdispensers on my 92g tank but running a weaker solution in each. That way I can fill up 14 gallons of topoff water at one time and if one fails I will have backup. Would turning up the transformer to 12v makeup for the voltage drop?

The problem wil be a circuit braker on the board that will cut off if you overdraw the power. I would not try it because while it may work satisfactory with two new pumps as they wear and draw more power you will have problems. On the old model Osmolator we found it was possible for the pump to take all the power from the circuit board and make it impossible for the circuit logic and safety systems to operate- hence the 3155 and all current models have a safety shut down if this occurs.
