2 questions - Tank Mates & Kalk Paste

1) I thought I read somewhere that Chromis will bother some mantis and keep them from being as active. I believe mine is an N. Werrenea (I can't get a good look at it) and it shares it's tank with 2 Chromis.


2) My mantis tank is starting to become overrun with Aiptasia. Will using kalk paste (Joe's Juice) cause my mantis any problems?

I've used it sparingly in my peacock tank with no ill effects (except on the aiptasia).

When I had an N.wennera I used Kalk for Aptasia control. In the end I ended up tossing 4 peppermind shrimp in figuring they would be picked off, but if I kept him well fed hopefully not until they had cured the aptasia problem. Many months later they were still roaming around at night. They would hide behind the skimmer during the day where the mantis couldn't get.
