2 rose spawning at same time

I have 3 rose anemones in my tank. My tank started clouding up and one rose was spawning. I looked an hour later and the secoond rose started spawning. I have 3 altogether. I thought they split to make more. What does the spawning do? other than turn my tank white? All 3 came from one, and I have given away 3 already.

BTA's reproduce both by cloning and by sexual reproduction. Individuals are either male or female.

So...instead of splitting like Im used to..I will see small anemones pop up?

oh well I have never seen it before, so that should help us all in getting more captive specimens available if we can determine the conditions and Qs on when it might happen.

Are all 3 from the same anemone? Because if the are they are all the same sex and there for sandly no small anemones.

Yep....I bought one and it has split many times into new healthy anemones that I have given away. At one time I had 6 in there and they dominated the tank. I got 3 out and still have 3 attached to too big a rock to get out and too deep. Well... off to water changing!
