2 skimmers?

I just ordered the coral life super skimmer to use on my tank, my question is that I already have a Prizim Pro Delux skimmer that i bought but now doing more reading they are not the best,thus why I got the coral life. So I figured hey ill just ad the Prizim for extra help, would this hinder anything and would it help at all or would I be better of getting rid of it?

I don't see how it would hurt your CSS from producing skimate. I personally don't like Prizm's but I hear the bigger ones are better. if you want to run them both I see no reason why not.

i believe hard core techies say running 2 is better anyhow, so you can take one down for cleaning without reducing dissolved o2 in the tank, and interupting skimming, not only that it adds redundancy to the system.

Sure it won't hurt anything. I'd run the Coralife dry and the Prizm wet, or vice versa -- just to see what works best with both running. Getting rid of it really won't do much -- it's not worth much if any money.

i have a coral life and a g2..... I run my ozone through the corallife/ wet and my g2 dry....

I have 2 skimmers aswell.I have the pacific coast wich is the sam as the coralife and I was running the remora pro.I have been running two skimmers for over 6 months.I just upgraded to the deltec mce 600.
