the anenome thing is on the top pic, to the left of the barely seen mushroom literally IN the middle of the pic....white thingie...

Looks more like Oyster's than clams. Doubt it's Aiptasia, they tend to be much less frilly looking and tend toward the amber to brown coloration. It's probably just a harmless filter feeder.

Could be majano or a glass anemone.. probably pest like. GIve it a few days and see if there are like 50 more.. then you might want to consider killing it.

I vote oyster and um.. for the mush.. maybe an actinodiscus? pretty neat

I know it does, it has the Yuma tentacles and the raised mouth, but the Yumas have alot more bumps on them, like tentacles, ans this only has say about 8 in each row of them, ...idk, maye it is a juvenile, that would be awesome, even more of a deal. Even if it is just a regular mushroom, they sell them for $10 each, and i only pai 50 cents for whe whole thing, the oysters, the ricordea or mushroom, and the wierd thingie, and there was an aiptasia in there, but i killed it before it went into my tank. It looks like an aiptasia with a wider mouth , white(translucent-ish), and about as any tentacles as an aiptasia would...

i know that is an aiptasia beside it though, like on the other oyster....

Can anyone for sure ID this mushroom?

yep thats an aiptasia that has been in the dark, If you where to let him survive he would turn brown and not as transluscent. As far as what a hitchhiker is it s anything that tags along on rock, can be wanted or unwanted. Aiptasia most likely bad unless your using them for filtration..... a method being experimented with by several here on RC but there are also good hitchhikers, like mantis in my eyes:)

well, i will keep it there, i super glued the other aip. in its hole, but somehow it came out...idk, i mean, I ahve no idea how it did that...hahaha

I would say that the shroom is not a ricrdia and definitely not a yuma(Notice the lack of false tentacles around the oral disc). It looks like a bumpy discosoma...or underdeveloped rhodactis.

After 5 wennerae, and tons of people wanting them, I agree the mantis isnt a bad hitchhiker, just simply one that is hard to catch!

I'd have to agree after seeing the better pictures.
