1. Who in town will cut a nice hole in a 29G to be used as a sump *or* where can I get a glass hole cutter? Not getting very far with the Googles...
2. Is there such a thing as a quiet external pump? Every time I get the nerve up to get one, I read a review about how loud it is. Anyone have a recommendation for something in the 900 - 1200 GPH @ 4' ft head height range?

I believe at least two of the LFS in town cut glass.

Funny you would ask. I actually had to put my hand on my PCX-30 tonight to make sure it was ON! (Seriously.)

That's my main pump. My external Closed Loop is a Coralife Turbo-Sea 1090 GPH at 13.1 feet Max Head @ <30dB

Ah, well, as it turns out, my Mag 18 on the 75g is supposed to be able to be run externally. I have always had it in my sump, so I just 'assumed' *Ya I know* that I would need a new pump. So, when the switch over day comes, I will re-use it...hopefully. If not, looks like I will be looking at a new external pump.
