20 gallon help!

Nems go where they want. You can't "put" them anywhere. And like the Dr. said the lights insufficient

what if i upgraded to this , i foudn it on ebay and can afford it "24" 48w T5 HO Aquarium Light German Reflector Hood 2x24W Lamp Fixture Coral Reef" it has one 12,000k fluorescent bulb and one actinic bulb , what kind of corals or anemone could i keep then

i cant afford those , why do u need so much light , i see tanks all the time with just the 2 bulbs and theyre tanks and stuff looks good

again. youll need at least 4 bulbs. 70 dollars isnt that much, go mow some lawns ahaha
the 4 bulb will support sps and lps

im gona save up some money then buy the 96watt t5 light and a powerhead , then ill look into buying a an anemone , will i be able to have anemones and hard corals wehn i ahve that light?

the wtaer is fine exept a little iron , and everything is doing well , it hasnt hurt anything , corals inverts and fish are all ok and the water test are good

the water is fine , the tests are good , there is a little iron , but the corals are fine and growing , inverts are doing fine and fish are good

iron is horrible for invers. so you ought to do a 100% water change with distilled. then from there continue to use distilled.

and technically your water isn't fine.... that was the whole reason for starting this thread. You have algae problems which means that you have excess nutrients, which means your water isn't ready for nems and the like
