Hi everyone, I'm new to Reef cental

I have a 20 gallon high acrylic tank. I don't know what to do with it becuase I was planning on switch my 10 gallon in to the 20 gallon and using the 10 as a sump for the 20. But now I want a mantis shrimp. I was wondering if it would be fine to keep the mantis with corals. Cause I have like xeinas, frogspawn, mushrooms and sun coral etc... and a royal gramma and a nemo. I was planning on getting a 5.5 gallon for the mantis but I don't want to many tanks in my room. What to do???

Depends on the mantis, most will happily coexist with corals. Fish are another story. Obviously out of the question with spearers. Some smashers will tolerate some fish, especially those that stay high in the water column. Bottom-dwellers such as gobies and blennies will almost certainly get eaten.

Note that a peacock mantis can kill a good-sized triggerfish!

I'm not sure what kind of mantis I want, which one would you think i shoud get. It fine if I lose my fishes. But I would like to keep the corals.
