20 gallons extreme make-over

I need some suggest on how to make this tank look nice. I am a newbie to the reef scene. I inherited a salwater tank (a 40 gallons) but downside to this 20 gallons because of space. Can someone post their 20 gallons picture for my inspiration?

This tank is looking terrible and the big "BOSS" aka "the wife" is getting annoy by how ulgy it looks so I need to make it looks nice but then she wouldn't let me buy anything LOL.

What's the best way to make a little bridge like effect and little tunnels for the fish to swim through? Any recommendations on how I can make this tank looks awesome are great appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you should go with "amphitheater" looks here.
Just make rocks all around 3 sides of the tank like this:

It gives the tank more "intimate" look, kinda like a hidden cave.

I'd go with less rock and I'd stack up the rocks to make caves. I like a more open lock.

It looks like you're using crushed coral. I'd use sand instead mainly because I find that it looks a little cleaner. The nice part about having a smaller tank is that you don't need a lot of sand. I use the prepackaged "live sand" because I like the color and size.

Have you checked out this month's nano tank of the month to get some ideas?

Thanks Zepplock and chem-e!

The tank came with a mixture of live sand and crush corals. I don't want to totally redo the tank. Where can I find the link to nano tank of the month?

Thanks!

I'd say less rock is probably better. If you have more open spaces it might look more like the bridges and caves you want.
