20 long reef lighting?

i was going to buy a 30 inch power compact lunar coralife light with 1x65watt actinic and 1x65watt 10000k i think from my local fish store for $140 its new he put new bulbs in it too so thats a total of 130 watts when the 4 bulb t5ho is total of 124 watts is this power compact ok for my tank to grow plany of corals its only 12 inches deep?

only thing i cant grow is like clams?
 
Depending on the T5 fixture, it's probably your better option. Despite being lower wattage, the T5 are more efficient when it comes to putting light in the water. PC bulbs have re-strike issues and don't work with reflectors as well as T5s. This is mostly due to their shape. If the T5 light has individual reflectors around each bulb then there is no question that it's better. T5s also have better quality bulb availability, so that's another advantage.
