200 gallon lighting

Hi All,
I just inherited (volunteered for?) responsibility for a 200 g at work that is currently a complete disaster (coarse crushed coral with quartz pebbles for substrate, no protein skimmer, regular fluorescent bulbs for lighting, no powerheads, less than 100 pounds of live rock (which now needs to be re-cured), etc.).
I plan on replacing the sand with fine aragonite (oolite preferably), adding another 150 pounds of live rock, adding a protein skimmer, adding a refugium, increasing circulation, and so on.
However, all of my saltwater experience has been with smaller tanks (less than 100 g), and while I've been able to extrapolate most of what I need out to 200 gallons, I'm not sure about lighting requirements. The tank is 80"L x 27"H x 22"D. This tank is not intended to go beyond the soft coral stage, and I was thus hoping people would have suggestions on lighting amounts. I've been looking at Current-USA's SunDial HQI pendants, but I'm questioning the wattage I really need in this situation.
I've been searching the forums and have not really come across a confident suggestion. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Dave
