So I've decided to finally take some pictures of my new build and post to RC to get some feed back from the experts about the good, bad and the ugly regarding my build. I have been into reef aquariums off and on since 1991, but never taken on this big of a project. My last tank was a 115g custom tank that I sold 7 years ago due to a move. I am now in a home I do not plan on moving from for a long time, so I have decided to take on this build.

Using a 50g rubbermaid as a refugium that drains into a 100g Rubbermaid sump. The tank has dual corner over flows so I went with a dual herbie. The full siphons on gate valves are 1" that are unite together under the tank to a 2" tee. 2" pipe then drains to the basement sump. The second non gate valved overflow which handle minimal flow also unites to a 2" tee and drains to the refugium. The refugium is plumbed with 2" piping and 2" drain so it can handle any excess just in one of the gated pipes somehow gets clogged.
Also pictured is my water change station, and manifold that will supply my SRO 3000 ext, GFO and carbon reactor and eventually my biopellet reactor once needed.
