After showing my wife :love1: several in-wall builds she gave me the green light to start my own in-wall build. We don't have many options available so here so this is where we are going to do our build. The tank will have glass on both sides. The bottom of the DT will be 3-4" above the wainscoating in the dining room. The TV will be mounted above the DT on the living room side. The tank will be in the neighborhood of 200g. I will be able to plumb the tank for water (RO/DI) and sewer from under the kitchen sink to minimize water spillage. I am excited to get started. Lots of planning ahead though. I started planning the tank out using Google Sketch and I will post it as soon as I finish the design for feedback.

No progress yet. We are involved heavily in our kid's school PTO and we had a lot going for the end of the year. Plus, bronchitis has kept me under the weather for a month. I just about got it whooped. I have some honey-do's to know out then I will be able to get started.

Here is the tank I plan to build. I am considering a overflow at each end of the tank and glass on both sides. This way the tank can be viewed from both the living room and the dinig room. The problem is accessibility from the dining room side. I will have to figure out a tasteful way be able to remove or open dorrs or panels to access tank components. The plan is the fuge, ATO, SW storage, etc will be under and on one side of the tank. The dining room side has wainscoating to deal with. Any ideas and suggestions?

I taped out the wall with the tv above the tank and I am having reservations about doing it. I think I am going to set up my 125g until I figure out what I want to do.
