i posted the same thread in fish section, but i guess it's always better to hear from more ppl.

i have a list of fishes in mind to stock my new 200 gal full sps/clam tank, but not sure if it's going to work, so i need some fish experts here.
it'll be put it in in the order.

1st. lawnmower - as big as i can find
2nd. achilles tang- 6" or bigger
3rd. black tang- mid size maybe 4" +
4th. mystery wrasse - biggest i can find
5th. leopard wrasse - biggest i can find
6th. sohal tang -4-6"
7th. male crosshatch!!! 7" maybe

maybe a 4-5" regal angel since i always want one.

do u guys think this list with the order and size would work ? would i still be able to keep some small fish such as anthias?

Sohal Tang (from LiveAquariua.com):
<i>"Sohal Tangs are very aggressive. They should not be kept with other Tangs or Wrasse species. They tend to be well-behaved with old tank mates, but try to kill any new additions. They are only suited for large aquariums with other aggressive fish. They do fairly well in very large reef systems with no other Tangs, and plenty of swimming room. "</i>

Trigger (from Vivid Aquariums):
<i>"the Crosshatch Trigger will not bother corals, but may nip at clams or invertebrates. If you plan to keep it with shrimp add the shrimp first. It can be kept with a large variety of other fishes, except small reef fishes..."</i>

Other than those 2 fishes, I like the rest of your ideas. Good luck finding a black tang! The leopard wrass is a cool fish. Here are a few others you may want to consider:

*Anthias (one male and 3-4 females... will be really cool to watch)
*McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
*Christmas wrass aka Ornate Wrasse
*Carpenter's /Flasher wrasse
*Yellow Mimic Tang (add before the Sohal if you get it...)

I think that you can keep some smaller fish easily if you dont get the sohal tang... and I probably wouldnt get the trigger either. All the other fish should be ok together. This is, of course, JMHO! GL!!

Some wrasses tend to get aggressive towards each other also...The Sohal needs to be the last one in the pool after all of the others are established

I'm no fish expert but I have majority of the fish you listed. They are fine together. Like everyone say...the sohal is very aggressive fish so put him in with caution. Once his is in..it will be hard for you to add any other fish at a later time. My sohal even chase my blue tang and his almost twice his size.

the crosshatch won't be as comfortable as you may think in that 200 gal....i've had one in my 240 and he just never seemed to have enough room...jmho
