Remember to mark your calendars for this Saturday. It's finally here. The annual Central Ohio Reef Aquarists - All Ohio Frag Swap. A tradition in Central Ohio for close to a decade.

This year CORA is proud to do our part in supporting one of the coolest High School programs going. The Bellevue Ohio High School Marine Sciences Program and Group, and their Marine Sciences teacher David Bowers. All proceeds from this year's kitchen sales will go directly to David and his group to help fund their projects this year. This 4 year high school science program is what it's all about. Getting our future Julian Sprungs, Anthony Calfos, Mark Veras, and Steven Pros headed in the right direction to pursue careers in the Marine Sciences field.

So don't be shy when stepping up to the kitchen for a sandwich, soda, etc. this year. You are directly contributing to a stellar local program that is helping shape our hobby's future.

See everybody Saturday at the swap. More information here:

3 words. WOW........and.....THANK YOU. These words to everyone who came out this year. Vendors, early bird setups, and especially everyone who made the trip and picked up frags. GREAT turnout this year. Here are a few quick cell phone pics I took. Sorry for the poor picture quality. Thanks again everyone.

And a special THANKS to the folks from the Bellevue High School Marine Sciences Group for manning the kitchen and serving up the great pulled pork, hotdogs, chips, and soda. And to those who purchased food from them. All proceeds from the food sales go directly to help fund that high school program.

Thanks too go out to Mantis' son Corey for helping me pull raffle tickets today. Thanks for the help man. :) As well as to those CORA members that helped with setup and tear down.
