I have a maldives clownfish, the only fish in my gonna be reef tank. Its FOWLR for now. What are other reef safe and clown compatible fish. The tank is barebottom.

Hmm...Well, if it were me I would put a Swales Swissguard Basslet (Liopropoma swalesi) in a 20 gallon. They stay very small and are very interesting IMO.

neon gobies, six line wrasse, dwarf pygmy angel, hector goby, fang blennies, falcos hawkfish (Cirrhitichthys sp., questionable with shrimp) I'm sure you'll get some other suggestions.

The clown is of 3".So,thats why I dont think any other same clown ll have a chance, although there is a heck lot of rocks and interconnected caves(I dont know how the heck I manage to interconnect these caves).
The tank is bare bottom and open. So,blennies, gobies and firefishes arent a good idea IMO.Unless someone knows how to manage that.
I was thinking of other damsels (golden, bicolor, yellow tail), chromis , royal grammas, six line wrasse on the top of list but I dont think my LFSs ll store them(not high demand here for reef safe and small fishes).
I might get a dwarf angel but tank is just 24 inches long.ll that be fine for them ?
And what are reef safe dwarf angels ?

there are no 100% reef safe dwarf angels. After saying that I'd say centropyge acanthops the african flameback angel would probably work in your tank. they stay smaller than your average dwarf and ime have not damaged any of my corals. i also think that you could pair up your clown, in which case i'd leave out the angel.

I think then I ll have to wait for this clown to again show up here.
Do I have to keep something in mind before making a same clown purchase ?like size or anything.

Read some threads about clowns. They are weird in that they can change sex. If you have a clown in an established tank, it will be a females, and adding a smaller juvenile clown will cause the new one to become male, and hopefully they pait up. Females are generally larger. I added a cinnamon after about a year and I had no issues. I may be totally backwards on my rules of the sex change, whether its M-F or F-M, but thats how it works. And IMO, a pair of clowns looks better than a single clown and another fish. Also dont think you will be able to get an anenome for that small of a tank.

I do know that, that why I mentioned the size of my clown. But I always thought that to get a pair you have to get both as juvies.
But I think should have read about their diseases and wild caught fishes, mine is wild caught and has come down with a case of brook.Today is holiday in over country so I cant buy/get formalin from anywhere.
