20g h lighting for a clam??

howdy all,
im setting up a 20g h ( 24x12x16 ) im wanting to keep several types of clam and maybe a monti cap or 4 =). the question is do i do a 150w HQI pendant or a 250w Pendant??

I have two Derasa's in my 20H that are doing great. I have a 150w Sunpod HQI.

You'd be fine with the one 150 HQI. Do a 14K and you probably wouldn't need any supplimental actinic lighting.

Id do a 150 or a 250, but if you run a 250 keep it 18" above the water. a 150 would be plenty though..

i have a 150w sunpod on my 37 which is 24'' tall and my crocea is on the sand, and it is doing very well. 150 will be plenty.

my friend is running 130PC on his 20g, with supplemental feedings every day...for about 8 months...the clam is doing well, and is placed relatively high up...his color is still as intense

I have a 20T and have a 150w sunpod on it and I am able to keep clams on the bottom of the tank.
