20g Livestock Choices?

Getting a 20g added to my system, got a place to put it in the wall and thinking display fuge type setup.

I'm isolating my Xenia there and letting it run wild, also want to load it with Dragons Breath. Any suggestions on a fish that won't compete for pods? I'm thinking a small maroon clown... Can't add her in with my Nemos in the DT.

Cardinals and gobies are a great choice for a 20 gal. I wouldn't suggest a clown, but if you could find a small one at your LFS and would be willing to take it out when it got too big, then go for it.

I thought about a diamond goby.

I suppose I could even consider a mantis shrimp as long as I don't plan on any other tank inhabitants.

2 cardinals would be fine. A shrimp goby pair would be nice. Never had a mantis but could be neat

Shrimp/goby pair I agree.. I think that's high on the list. Mantis would be cool, it should be safe with Xenia and some macro algae. Just can't have a cuc in there.

Your gonna wanna have some crabs and snails in there as thats the mantis's food. But i have always liked the shrimp goby pair, it is sweet to watch how they work together
