20G Long Sump Build

I plan on building a 20G Long Sump to provide filtration for my 37G tank. What kind of skimmer (HOB or in sump); pump are recommended? I am on a budget and will like to build the best sump at the most reasonable price. My tank is 30L x 12W x 22H and currently I run a Rena Filstar Xp3 with only carbon and chemipure.

I'm afraid over time I'll have major nitrate buildup and my tank will be destroyed by phosphates.

Plan for my sump:
20G Long With Baffles to Create space for a Skimmer,Refugium and enough water volume for pump area to return back to tank.

I do not have a drilled tank so I'll need an overflow box, suggestions are welcomed.

I plan on using Chaeto and a DSB in the fuge to control nitrates and using a phosban reactor to control the phosphates.

Anyhwere I can look for samples on how to build the sump?

also a good overflow box is the lifereef or DIY (some are fail-safe)

cheato and liverock should do, a DSB is too much for a 20 (PITA for my 20 long)

regarding equipment, there are tons of options, but I'd probably shop for used stuff if you want to find quality at a price. there are always piece showing up, so keep your eyes peeled.

For the overflow box, go with the LifeReef one. Sure it is more expensive then the others, but it is worth every penny. I have one on my 75, and has been running for 6+ years and has never lost its siphon (( excluding when I removed the U-tube on purpose ))

As for the sump, think that you should decide on the skimmer first, that way you will know how much room you will need for it.
