After lurking around here and Nano-Reef for a bit asking a few questions, I'm starting this thread for my 20h build. I had a 75g FOWLR tank a few years ago, but I'm now trying my hand at a zoa/LPS tank. So far this is what I have:
tank: 20h Aqueon
RO/DI: BRS RO/DI
salt: IO Reef crystals
sand: CaribSea Arag-Alive
rock: 10 lbs BRS pukani (curing in a 5g bucket w/ powerhead)
filtration: AC 70 w/ Intank media basket running chemipure blue + filter floss (thinking about getting the pico surface skimmer)
heater: Cobalt neotherm 75w
Also grabbed a Cobalt easy-therm and Marineland powerhead for mixing salt.
Thinking of getting an Ecotech MP10 and Kessil A360 for lighting...thoughts? Fish = TBD...but certainly lightly stocked
Planning to do bi-weekly 5g water changes... grabbing Seachem ammonia/nitrite/nitrate test kit for the cycle...
