20h is running........finally!

Hey keep posted on how your water looks. Im interested to try JB but never have. Ill be building a 100 plywood soon and i would really like to take the time to aquascape better. Would you recomend the JB?

Thanks! I do like the JB weld, but I've noticed a couple of places where it didn't stick as well as I thought. I think the key is to make sure the rocks are very clean, and completely dry. Some of the spots I did some work on were still slightly wet. Pretty good overall though.

The water is still a little cloudy. I need to pick up some cheap filter pads with carbon, hopefully itll clear it up

Thanks! Just got the SG stable at 1.026, and put a carbon insert in the power filter to clear up the water. Probably not gonna be much action till I order the overflow and start building the sump

Updated fts. Water is clear, deeper sandbed is in, and today I made the small island on the left side of the tank. Hoping to pick up a tank for a sump tomorrow and get started on that

I thought it looked nice to start. But that little island gives it a bit more character. Any ideas on coral or fish?

Thanks tommy, I thought it needed a little something more. I plan on almost all SPS, with maybe only a couple zoas/rics if I come across ones that I can't pass up. I'm starting to get a good idea of where I want to place the branching sps, and where I could place tabling acros or caps. Just a picture in my head so far. Hopefully things will turn out how I picture.

As for fish, I want to keep smaller stuff. I always thought a pair of neon gobies would be cool. Maybe clown gobies. Probably one wrasse to hopefully prevent any outbreaks of flatworms

Looks good! Makes me miss mine.I always wanted to do a nano with all softies, maybe at a later date I'll give it a try.Keep up the good work.
