210 Build Log

Well, i am finally closing in on the final build days of my new 210 gallon reef. I currently have a 90 gallon that i will be transfering to this one and it will become a fish only. I first started gathering and planning over a year ago and have since gone from a 180 with a basic stand to a 210 with a custom stand and canopy. I have changed many things in this time but as i am coming to the end of the build i have the following to get it running:

210 All Glass reef ready tank
Red oak custom stand and canopy
~75 gallon acrylic, 4 compartment sump
200 lbs live rock, 400 lbs sand
3 Lumenbright large pendants
3 CoralVue 250 watt MH ballasts
3 Reeflux 12k bulbs
1 CaralVue 440 watt T5 ballast
2 80 watt ATI Blue Plus T5 bulbs
2 24 watt 10k T5 bulbs
Lifereef calcium reactor
Das EX2 External Skimmer
2 Phosban 150 reactors
Reeflo Dart return pump w/ 1" scwd
3 Vortech Mp40w pumps
1 Ecotech Battery backup
Aqua controller 3 w/ 2 DC8's

The tank has been running without lights to cycle the tank and sump since early December. One compartment of the sump holds an 8" sand bed with a little over 200 pounds of sand and the fuge has been coming along nicely. The tank itself has about the same amount of sand. The rock has been curing in the dark for over 6 months and is held in the tank with fifberglass rods throughout. There is only about 150 pounds of rock in the tank itself with about 50 in the sump. My numbers all seem stable and i should have the light rack and canopy complete by the end off the month so i can begin the move. One thing i am at odds with right now is the plumbing as i want to make it more complete and organized. I will get more pictures later and answer any questions, but i would like to ask for some help with the new plumbing if i may.

What i want to do is feed my calcium and phosbans from my return pump and feed my skimmer from my drain. My sump has a Fuge, frag, reactor, then return sections with water flowing in that order. The tank unfortunately already has 1.5" union/valves on all 1" holes on the botton, so that cant be changed, but anything else can. Thanks!
